    To ensure participants can fully engage with the program and benefit from the training, the following foundational knowledge is needed:
  • 📘 Cybersecurity Fundamentals: A basic understanding of core concepts in cybersecurity, such as threats, vulnerabilities, and basic protection mechanisms
  • 💻 Basic Computer Concepts: Familiarity with essential computer science concepts, such as file systems, memory, and hardware/software interactions
  • 🖥️ Operating Systems (Linux & Windows): Experience navigating and operating within Linux and Windows environments, as these systems will be used throughout the training

    The following prior knowledge and experience is needed:
  • 🌐 IT and Cybersecurity Essentials: Familiarity with the basics of IT infrastructure, including key concepts like IP addressing, network layers, and basic encryption
  • 🔧 Experience with Operating Systems & Network Configurations: Hands-on experience using Linux or Windows, managing system configurations, and understanding how networks are set up and secured
  • 🛠️ Knowledge of Communication Protocols: Awareness of basic network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, and DNS, as these are integral to network protection and cybersecurity analysis
